These terms are a contract between you (the business or person who signs up) and the provider of Remute. By creating an account or using the service you accept them. If you accept on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind it.
1. Provider
The service is provided by {{LEGAL_NAME}}, tax ID {{TAX_ID}}, registered address {{ADDRESS}}, contact {{CONTACT_EMAIL}}.
2. The service
Remute is an AI voice assistant that answers calls to your business number, takes messages, books appointments where an integration is connected, and sends you summaries by SMS or email. Features marked as coming soon are not part of the service until released.
The assistant is automated. It can make mistakes, mishear names or numbers, or misunderstand a caller. You are responsible for reviewing summaries and for following up on important calls.
3. Accounts
You must give accurate information, keep your credentials secure and be at least 18. You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly about any unauthorised use.
4. Plans, billing and changes
Remute offers a Free plan (30 minutes per month), Pro and Business plans with included minutes, as shown on the pricing page. Prices shown are drafts until launch and may exclude taxes. Paid plans renew automatically each period until cancelled; you can cancel at any time and the plan runs until the end of the period paid. Unused minutes do not roll over unless stated.
Minutes above your plan may be charged at the rate shown on the pricing page or the service may pause, as you configure. We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice; the change applies from your next renewal.
Where consumer law gives you a right of withdrawal, it applies only to consumers. The service is intended for business use.
5. Acceptable use
You must not use Remute to break the law; to harass, deceive or defraud anyone; to impersonate a person or organisation; to send unsolicited marketing; to record calls without meeting your legal duties; to attempt to reverse engineer, overload or bypass the security of the service; or to process special categories of data (for example health data) in ways the service is not designed for.
You must configure Remute so that callers are told they may be recorded, where required, and must obtain any consent your country requires. Remute tells callers they are speaking with a virtual assistant.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms or put the service or others at risk.
6. No emergency services; no professional advice
Remute is not an emergency service. Do not use it to answer or route calls that may involve an emergency, and do not rely on it to reach 911, 112 or any other emergency number. Configure your greeting to direct urgent callers to emergency services.
Remute does not give medical, legal or financial advice and is not HIPAA compliant at this time. Do not use it to handle protected health information.
7. Your content and data
You keep all rights over your content and call data. You give us a licence to process it solely to provide the service, as described in the Privacy policy and the Data Processing Agreement. We own the service, its software and brand.
8. Availability and third parties
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The service depends on telephone carriers, cloud and AI providers outside our control. Integrations with third-party tools are subject to those tools' own terms.
9. Warranty and liability
The service is provided as is to the extent the law allows. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud, wilful misconduct or death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Subject to that, our total liability under these terms in any 12-month period is limited to {{LIABILITY_CAP}}, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, missed appointments or lost business arising from calls not answered or misunderstood.
10. Term and termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate for breach or non-payment, with notice where reasonable. On termination we delete or return your data as described in the Data Processing Agreement.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified by email at least 30 days before they apply. Continuing to use the service afterwards means you accept them.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of {{JURISDICTION}}. The courts of {{JURISDICTION}} have jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory rights you have under the law of your country of residence.
